Surgery

Tipton Ridge Veterinary Medical Center offers a state-of-the-art surgical suite equipped with innovative tools to better care for your pet in the Pulaski, Virginia area. Prior to surgery, our experienced veterinarians always recommend running blood work on your furry friend. Blood work can indicate issues that may not be seen by a simple physical exam, and are important to know so that anesthesia can be administered to your pet as safely as possible. During pre-operative procedures at Tipton Ridge, it is required that pain medication is given in order to keep your pet as comfortable as possible during surgery. Remember, if it would hurt us as people, it will hurt pets as well. Before, throughout, and after the procedure, your pet’s vital signs will be continuously monitored by the veterinarian, including heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen levels. At the conclusion of the treatment, your pet will be kept warm and will continue to be monitored as they recover from the procedure.

Our skilled veterinarians have successfully performed countless procedures on local pets, and they will bring the same level of care to your pet. Call Tipton Ridge Veterinary Medical Center for your pet’s surgical needs.
