The modern boarding area at Tipton Ridge Veterinary Medical Center is a state-of-the-art facility serving the boarding needs of the pet owners in Pulaski, Virginia, and the surrounding areas. Whether you are going out of town on vacation or business, Tipton Ridge is your precious pet’s home away from home!
Our veterinary-supervised boarding facility is always kept sanitary and meticulously clean. The housing area is climate controlled to keep your furry family member cool during the summer and warm during the winter months. Our caring staff members are all trained to properly care for the pets entrusted in our care. Dogs boarding with us are walked twice daily, and our feline friends are kept in a separate area, away from the barking of dogs that could cause them stress. All medications and special diet foods are properly and carefully administered by our kennel crew.
Prior to boarding, all pets must be current on their vaccination schedule. Our canine boarders must be vaccinated against rabies, bordetella (kennel cough), distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and leptospirosis. Feline boarders must be currently vaccinated against rabies, feline leukemia, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia, and chlamydia. If your pet needs vaccine boosters, or if you are unaware of their current vaccination status, please contact Tipton Ridge four weeks prior to their anticipated stay. We want to keep all of our boarders protected against these diseases.
Please remember that our boarding area is very popular and can fill up quickly, especially during the summer and holiday seasons. We ask that you make reservations in advance.
